Planted in the Garden
At The Garden, we celebrate life together in home groups. We meet each other during weekdays in several locations. We believe home groups are essential to strengthen each other and build each other up while we journey together in life with God. In the home groups, we do Bible studies and we support each other.
Besides regular home groups, we also have interest groups, in which we enjoy common interests and hobbies like baking or studying a specific Bible topic.
There are more than ten groups, so no matter what your interest is or what season of life you are in, there is always a group to suit you.

ALPHA COURSE
Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that provide a welcoming, open and casual atmosphere to engage in conversations about life’s big questions. Plus, we kick off each sessions with a delightful meal!
Alpha is open to all who are curious and have a desire to explore life’s profound questions & the Christian faith.

FREEDOM IN CHRIST COURSE
What is the Freedom in Discipleship course?
The course enables you to understand the truth of who you are in Christ, to dissolve any personal and spiritual strongholds of the past, and move on to Christian maturity. In this way, you can become alive and free in Christ through genuine repentance, forgiveness, and faith in God.
This will allow you to grow and become a fruitful disciple who can make a real impact in our church and community.
Who is the course for?
It is for every Christian, adult or new, as well as for post–Alpha participants. It‘s about getting to know Jesus even better as a real person and seeing the effects of this in our own lives, at home, at work, etc. It is a way of life based on the truths and principles of the Bible. It‘s good to take the course every few years to make sure you stay on the right track.
When does the next course start?
We plan to start the course on Thursday evening 3 October at 20.00–21.30 in IC The Garden, Hilversum.
The course in both English and Dutch lasts for 10 weeks on Thursday evenings.

BRAVE (teenagers 12-17 years)
Hello everyone!!!
We are BRAVE – a safe place where teens (ages 12-17) can grow in their faith. Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month we meet during the service at Regenboogkerk, Hilversum. The meetings are for boys and girls together.
Our goal is to get to know God and His Word better, to become passionate for Jesus, strong in our faith and wise in how we live our lives. And of course, we also have fun together :) We usually start the meetings with some games and snacks, then we listen to an edifying thought from the Bible and then discuss what we learned. Looking forward to seeing you!

GARDEN GIRLS
We eat together, talk, chat, laugh and have a lot of fun during the fun activities. We read the Bible, we pray for each other and we talk about what concerns us. It is God who connects us and that is partly why our friendship is so special.

BIBLE STUDY GROUP
The Bible Study Group is for young adults who like to dive deeper into Gods word. We speak a mix of English and Dutch with each other.
Every two weeks we gather on Thursday evenings from 19.30 – 21.30 at someone’s home (in Hilversum or Naarden). We start with sharing how we are doing and how our week with God was. Then we study the Bible together to discover how God speaks to us. Also we enjoy meeting up for fun for a BBQ or boardgames.

FLOURISH
It‘s time to BLOOM!
‘FLOURISH‘ (formerly BLOOM) organises walk–in mornings for mothers every other Wednesday.
We want to live a meaningful life rooted in the word of God and the love of Jesus. Our goal is to foster that growth in faith in the rich soil of meaningful relationships.
Women among themselves, women who share compassion and understanding with each other.
Laughing together, praying and sharing tears, supporting each other, exchanging delicious cakes or recipes, but above all sharing wisdom.
Our prayer is that this is a place where we receive strength and encouragement to flourish in life!

I would like to invite you to participate in this Dutch spoken “Interest group”. Together we want to explore two topics: “Israel and the end times”.
What does the Bible say about this and what does it mean for us personally? On these evenings we want to be busy with this. Looking for answers to our questions. New insights and perspectives help us to live our faith with joy.
